Operation Write Home Birthday Bash!

All during the month of September, Operation Write Home is celebrating it's birthday! Yeah! This wonderful organization collects handmade cards to be used by our military heroes overseas to write home. You can help them out by hosting a card making event during September, or by simply making cards on your own and shipping them to OWH. Check out their website for all the details you will need to know (ie.: No Glitter on cards) www.operationwritehome.org. Hero Arts stamp company is hosting a virtual card making party in support of Operation Write Home's Birthday Bash. This event takes place on September 10 - 12 on their blog and in the Hero Arts Flickr group, check it out at www.heroarts.com.

Amuse Monthly Challenge

Here's one for the Monthly Challenge in the Amuse Lounge (www.amuselounge.com). The challenge was to use pattern paper or create your own pattern paper using Amuse stamps. I made the leafy background paper with a stamp from the clear set "Simple Wishes" using Versamark Ink. I added the cute squirrel and sentiment to make it a perfect way to send a little love to someone this Fall.
