For my very first Unity FWF I had to use the brand spankin' new Unity-Cosmo Cricket Material Girl stamp set. I was lucky enough to snag this set about two weeks ago at Archiver's, woo hoo! I have been playing with it ever since and having so much fun. The set coordinates with Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl Collection of paper, chipboard, stickers, etc. It really makes creating a card super easy! As a little girl I loved paper dolls, so this is my grown up version of childhood fun. Hope you enjoyed visiting with me. If you have time please take a tour of my blog, leave a comment and become a follower, I would really appreciate that. Thanks. Have a blessed and creative day!

Challenge #3 USCAC3
The challenge here was to use your first Unity stamp, or at least one released a while ago. I used the adorable ice cream cone from the Mix Up of Cuteness set, which I believe is one of the first ones I purchased.
Challenge #4 USCAC4
For this sketch challenge you had to incorporate 4 patterned papers and a button or bling embellishment. When I was nearly finished with this card I could not figure out where I wanted to put a button. After I few minutes I gave up on the button idea and got out my gemstones. Luckily I had a yellow one that was perfect for the scooter headlight!

Thinking of You Pocketful
"Hi Friend" Stampendous Sketch Challenge
Bloom
I wanted to challenge myself to make a card without using a stamp, just to see if I could do it. When I saw the great new product "Clothes Line" from Little Yellow Bicycle I knew I had to use it. Don't you just love the blue border and the yellow rick rack? Everything is a sticker, except the rick rack, making this card super fast to put together. Hope you enjoy seeing it. Please leave a comment if you have time. Thanks!
Sew Sweet
I love Unity Stamps and Cosmo Cricket Products. Well, the two have come together to make some fab new stamp sets. I picked up this Material Girl set at Archiver's and paired the images with some great new papers from Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry Collection. I did some stitching on this card to enhance the sewing theme. Hope you like it!

Butterfly Love
I made the butterflies on this card using Gina K Designs Dream Birds Stamps set. I just love the images in the set because they give me a chance to color with my Copic Markers and then create the detail I want with Spica Glitter pens. If you want a polkadotted butterfly, just make it, if you want a plaid one- make it! The embossed background was made using a Cuttlebug folder and layering it with a thin wooden frame (available at Michaels) before running through the Cuttlebug Machine so that the center is not embossed. This leaves a perfect spot to do some stamping
Crocheted Flower Card
I have seen several crocheted flower embellishments in my local scrapbook store, but I decided I could make my own. It was easy to do and a lot of fun, too! There are many resources and patterns on line to help you. The lovely stamped images are from Gina K Designs set- Nana's Needlework, I love this versatile set of stamps.
A Muse Art Cards
A Muse Art has some of the most adorable stamps out there! Here are some cards that I made for the A Muse Lounge PJ Party Challenges.
Challenge #1: Challenge was to make a card using the provided photo of some yummy wedding cupcakes as inspiration.
You're Sweet
Challenge #2: Challenge was to repeat a stamped image at least three times. I made two cards for this challenge.

All Things Unity
I simply love Unity Stamps, they are so fun and are beautifully illustrated. I made this card for the challenge over on www.allthingsunity.blogspot.com Participating in their challenges is a great way to get out your Unity Stamps and create. I colored the image with Copic markers, which are fabulous. If you look on my side bar you will see that I am now Copic Certified!

Sweet Pea Baby Card
I don't currently have many babies to make cards for, however, I do have some friends in Italy who are expecting their first child this month, so perhaps this card will make its way there. I used Gina K Designs Lovely Labels, which is a very versatile stamp set. The sentiment and the Pea Pod are from A Muse Art, so cute!
Copic Certification!
Big news, I am now Copic Certified! These are the most amazing art markers I have ever used. I was so thrilled to be able to attend the Copic Certification Class yesterday, taught by Sally Lynn MacDonald. She is an awesome teacher and I learned so much. Now I am certified to share my knowledge with others; I am not sure where this will lead me, either teaching on my own or for a retail scrapbook/card shop. For right now, I am content just practicing the new techniques and playing with my markers!
If you are not familiar with Copics, you should check out their website or see them in action at a store near you. They are alcohol (no odor) based and blend beautifully. They can be used on paper and all sorts of other materials, such as plastic, metal, ribbons, etc. Because they are alcohol based, they do not tear up your paper, no matter how much ink you use, making them perfect for coloring stamped images. At first it seems that they are expensive, but, because they are refillable they end up being cheaper than other markers in the long run. Believe me, once you try them, you will want these markers. Better to have a few really good markers than a whole set of cheaper ones.

My Pink Stamper Challenge
For this card I used two different Cricut Cartridges. The pickle jar is found on From My Kitchen, the pickles and sentiment are from the new cartridge "Just Because" Cards. This new cartridge has really cute images that you can use for so much. Hope you like it, leave me a comment and let me know what you think! Thanks for checking in.
Live the Life Butterflies
I loved this Posh Designs Scrapbook Store Sketch Challenge, it has a fun and funky feel to it.
I also made this card for Cupcake Craft Challenges Make your own flower challenge. I made the flower from some acetate packaging ( I love to recycle stuff into crafts!). I cut it out using Spellbinders Nestabilities, embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder, colored it with a Copic marker and added a brad and a pearl. Voila, trash to treasure! Check out the challenge at
Gina K Designs April Ilustrator Challenge
For this challenge I chose the children's book The Quiltmaker's Gift as my inspiration. I love to quilt and I received this book as a gift from a quilting friend about 6 years ago. It is a wonderful story about an old woman who makes beautiful quilts to give to the poor. The King finds out about her quilts and wants one for himself. She agrees to make him one if he will give away his possessions. It is filled with wonderful watercolor illustrations, including many of quilts. It is a delightful story with a wonderful message for people of all ages. For my card I chose to use Gina K Designs new set Nana's Needlework which has some wonderful images related to quilting, knitting and lace. I colored the image with Copic markers to give a watercolor effect and added a bit of glitter for some sparkle. Hope you enjoy this! Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Vintage Lace Notecard
I love the juxtaposition of the delicate lace and ribbon with the rougher Kraft card stock. The doily and lace stamps are from Gina K Designs new set by Nina Brackett- Nana's Needlework. Felt embellishments are really popular right now and these cute felt flowers and epoxy button from Doodlebug Designs are perfect! Hope you like it, leave a comment and let me know what you think. Have a blessed day!
